According to a report from the Business Daily Africa newspaper, the Nairobi County Assembly’s ratification of the Nairobi City County Betting, Lotteries and Gaming Act of 2021 means that betting premises must hand over about $5,560 for their inaugural licenses while simultaneously paying a $92 application fee.
